Fall Yard Waste Event

Prepare for FREE yard waste disposal this Fall! Bundle your organic waste in four-foot lengths or place in containers that can be dumped and left at curbside (marked YARDWASTE) such as marked extra cans, landscape containers, boxes, etc. Brookings/Harbor curbside, Oct 2-6 - on your garbage day; Gold Beach curbside, Wednesday, Oct 18th; and Port Orford curbside, Thursday, Oct 19th. Or, take it loose, bundled, or paper bagged to the Brookings Transfer Site, Tuesday thru Saturday, Oct 10-14th, 10am-5pm or Port Orford Transfer-Site Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 10-14th, from 10am-4pm. Paper landscape bags can be purchased from your local stores where garden supplies are sold. Yard waste in PLASTIC BAGS CANNOT be accepted.
